Beauty’s growing crossover into F1

The announcement comes as beauty brands continue to invest in the sport through partnerships, sponsorships and ambassadorships.

Earlier this year, retailer Sephora announced a partnership with F1 Academy, the female-focused championship of Formula One racing.

Meanwhile, Sephora’s parent company, LVMH, is two years into a ten-year partnership with the main Formula 1 championship.

Puig-owned Charlotte Tilbury also partnered with the series in 2024 to boost women in motorsport.

Additionally, Elemis also invested in Formula 1, signing a multi-year deal to be the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 team’s first-ever skin care partner and signing Formula 1 racer Jessica Hawkins as ambassador.

Drivers are also entering into partnerships with beauty brands.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc was named L’Oréal Paris Global Ambassador earlier this year, working with the brand on the L’Oréal Paris Men Expert and L’Oréal Paris hair care and styling ranges

Last year, Givenchy Parfums named driver Pierre Gasly as ambassador for its Gentleman Givenchy line of men’s fragrances.
