Victoria Beckham Beauty has a new CEO.
Lauren Edelman, previously the brand’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, replaces Katia Beauchamp in the role.
Prior to joining Victoria Beckham Beauty in May 2023, Edelman held leadership positions at Rose Inc and Chanel, as well as roles at L’Oréal.
Beauchamp, who found fame as the founder of beauty subscription service Birchbox, has helmed the entrepreneur and former Spice Girls’ brand since August 2022.
The announcement follows a period of amped-up activity for Victoria Beckham Beauty.
In October, the brand ran a ‘dreamlike’ pop-up activation in the US at New York’s High Line to celebrate the launch of 21:50 Rêverie, its fourth fragrance.
Victoria Beckham Beauty also launched a subscription service last year, making the brand’s skin care and make-up products available through a 5%-discounted auto-replenishment system.
Meanwhile, production has begun on a documentary about Victoria Beckham’s transition from pop star to fashion and beauty mogul.
The series is expected to debut on Netflix in mid-2025.
Edelman’s promotion is the latest in a series of beauty c-suite changes, which included Estée Lauder Companies’ Peter Jueptner announcing he would step down as Group President, International.
Meanwhile, Wella Company’s CEO and board Director, Annie Young-Scrivner, handed in her resignation.
And Ulta Beauty CEO Dave Kimbell announced his retirement, with Kecia Steelman – the US beauty retailer’s current President and Chief Operating Officer – named as his successor.
