The Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) has announced a trio of senior brand leadership appointments to support the company’s “next phase of growth”.
Justin Boxford is taking on the giant’s newly established role of Global President, Luxury Beauty Brands, expanding his portfolio to include La Mer alongside Estée Lauder, Aerin, Darphin Paris and Lab Series.
He will be responsible for guiding the luxury skin care brand into its “next chapter”, succeeding ELC’s Sandra Main, Global Brand President, La Mer and Skin Care Brands, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Boxford is a La Mer veteran, having led the brand from 2017 to 2022.
He is cited as having “expanded and diversified La Mer’s product portfolio”, strengthened its architecture, and advanced its presence across digital and omnichannel platforms.
ELC has also promoted Erica Kwok to Senior VP and General Manager of Estée Lauder, who will work closely with Boxford.
Kwok brings a “strong combination of strategic vision, operational excellence and global market expertise” to the role, read a company statement.
She has more than 20 years of beauty industry experience, including 15 years with the Estée Lauder brand.

Kwok joined Estée Lauder’s Global Brand from Asia Pacific in 2021, and has led marketing, product development and global growth in an expanded role over the past few years.
ELC said she has also played a pivotal role in big launches, including the reformulation of the brand's hero foundation Double Wear and its latest fragrance launch Glimmer.
Lastly, Magalie Parksuwan will continue as Senior VP and General Manager, La Mer, but in addition, she will oversee Darphin Paris and Lab Series.
Parksuwan will support Pierre-Olivier Garcin, Senior VP and General Manager, Darphin Paris and Lab Series.
She is seasoned in building global luxury brands across skin care, fragrance and make-up, and understands distribution channels across key markets.
Her “strategic acumen, creativity and passion for luxury” make her ideal for leading La Mer into its next phase of growth, while “further strengthening Darphin Paris and Lab Series globally”, read the company statement.
Commenting on the brand leadership shake-up, ELC’s Jane Hertzmark Hudis, Executive VP and Chief Brand Officer, said: “These appointments reflect the exceptional strength of our leadership bench and our deep commitment to developing world-class talent from within.
“Justin, Erica and Magalie each bring distinctive expertise, proven leadership and a deep passion for our brands.
“Together, they will build on the strong foundations of these businesses, drive continued growth and innovation, and position our brands for long-term success.”
