DSM-Firmenich has appointed Givaudan veteran Nicole Mancini as a Principal Perfumer in its Fine Fragrance Experience Team in North America.
Mancini will create fine fragrance and cross-category creations for the Dutch fragrance and flavours company to help strengthen its position as a “category leader”.
With more than 20 years experience, Mancini is “highly accomplished and respected in the fine fragrance space,” said Robin Mason, President of Fine Fragrance North America at DSM-Firmenich.
“Her passion for creating delightful and memorable scents will bring a new perspective to our talented roster of perfumers.”
Mancini’s track record includes working with celebrity brand designer KKW Fragrance to create reality TV star Kylie Jenner’s Nude Lips eau de parfum in 2020.
The scent won the Fragrance Foundation’s Fragrance Women’s Popular Award of the Year.
During her tenure at Swiss fragrance and beauty company Givaudan, Mancini worked in the Consumer Products Division focusing on personal care brands.
She then transitioned to the Fine Fragrance Team in New York, specialising in retail, celebrity and local fine fragrance brands.
“Joining [DSM-Firmenich’s] revered team is not just a career move, it is an invitation to elevate the very essence of artistry in fragrance,” said Mancini.
“Here is to a journey where passion meets precision and remarkable milestones are achieved."
DSM-Firmenich was formed by the merger of Dutch-Swiss nutrition, health and biosciences firm DSM and Swiss perfumery player Firmenich in 2023.
The business is composed of four divisions, including Perfumery & Beauty; Health, Nutrition & Care, Food & Beverage/Taste & Beyond, and Animal Nutrition & Health.
