MAC hires former Dr. Barbara Sturm exec as SVP Global Marketing

The Estée Lauder-owned make-up brand has tapped beauty veteran Emily Bromfield to expand its global marketing strategy

MAC Cosmetics has landed Dr. Barbara Sturm’s former MD and CMO Emily Bromfield as its SVP for Global Marketing.

Bromfield will oversee the Estée Lauder Companies-owned make-up brand's global marketing strategy across all categories and channels.

This will include “leading compelling storytelling, product innovation and immersive experiences” to enhance the brand's positioning and elevate consumer engagement.

She will report to Aïda Moudachirou-Rébois, SVP, Global GM, at MAC Cosmetics.

Bromfield has 14 years leadership experience, most recently she has been credited to driving Dr. Barbara Sturm growth, culminating in its acquisition by Puig in January 2024.

She also served as Global Marketing and Communications Director for Charlotte Tilbury, where she has been attributed to shaping the make-up brand's market strategy and social media presence.

"Emily's proven track record of building brands and driving breakthrough consumer-led marketing strategies will be invaluable to our team,” said Moudachirou-Rébois.

“With her extensive experience and innovative mindset, we are confident that, together, we will achieve remarkable milestones for MAC."
