Redrice Ventures and JamJar have backed the beauty authority’s UK skin care brand, helping to accelerate its growth and next phase of product development

Skin Rocks, the consumer skin care brand by beauty authority Caroline Hirons, has secured strategic investment to fuel the company’s global expansion.

The funding from consumer-focused investors Redrice Ventures and JamJar, with participation from Saffie Investments, will accelerate the UK beauty brand’s evolution.

The investment will fuel Skin Rocks’ next phase of product innovation and the brand’s move into international markets.

It will also aid the expansion of Skin Rocks’ professional product offering, Skin Rocks PRO, which is designed to “elevate in-clinic treatments”.

Hirons, a renowned skin care expert who has 28 years of expertise as an advanced aesthetic therapist, launched Skin Rocks in 2022.

“We have achieved extraordinary growth in just two years – a testament to our values, our team and our incredible community,” said Skin Rocks CEO Hirons.

“Redrice Ventures and JamJar Investments bring invaluable experience in scaling high-growth consumer brands, and we are thrilled to have their support as we enter this next chapter.”

Hirons will remain the brand’s majority shareholder, alongside Managing Director and shareholder Alexandra Forbes.

This is to ensure “continuity, clarity of vision and leadership from the original founding team”, read a statement from Skin Rocks.

Redrice Ventures and JamJar Investments are seasoned in backing “disruptive” consumer brands, with Deliveroo, Wild, Yepoda, Castore and Luna Daily in their portfolio.

“Skin Rocks is disrupting the beauty industry in all the right ways: cutting through noise, raising standards and making better skin a whole lot simpler," said Jonathan Heilbron, Partner at Redrice Ventures.

“Caroline and Alex are the perfect mix of bold and brilliant, and we are thrilled to be part of their next chapter.”

Emily Bullman, Investor at JamJar Investments, commented: “We are huge fans of Skin Rocks – an expert driven brand on a mission to demystify beauty and make skin care make sense.

“With its formula-first approach and high-quality products, it is clear why the brand has such a strong following.

“We cannot wait to work with Caroline and Alex in building out this game-changing brand.”
