Hailey Bieber is rumoured to be looking into a potential sale of her beauty brand Rhode.
The business, founded in 2022 by the model and entrepreneur, has reportedly been valued at more than US$1bn.
Sources close to the matter have said US banking firms JPMorgan Chase and Moelis are being consulted on the potential transaction, according to a report by Reuters.
Rhode has grown to become one of the most influential beauty brands in the industry.
The business was recently listed among the UK’s most searched for celebrity beauty brands, alongside Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty and Kate Moss’ Cosmoss.
It was also named as one of 2024’s top rising stars in beauty, according to a report by Cosmetify.
The beauty comparison site’s annual index analysed search data and highlighted a surge in consumer interest driven by viral products, innovative marketing strategies.
Rhode took second place with a 232% increase, followed by Summer Fridays, which experienced a 173% surge.
Beiber joins the likes of Gomez, who also reportedly hired advisors to assess offers for her cosmetics brand Rare Beauty in 2024.
According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, Rare Beauty has onboarded bankers to field interest from companies looking to invest in or acquire the company.
Singer and actress Gomez launched Rare Beauty in 2020, with the 31-year-old said to have been involved at ‘every step’ of product development.
Kosas Cosmetics was also rumoured to be exploring a potential sale of the brand last year.
The Los Angeles-based skin care and make-up hybrid is said to have hired investment bank North Point to explore its options, industry sources close to the business claimed at the time.
