Hello Klean, a London-based beauty and shower care brand, has received strategic investment from German water filtration giant Brita.

It marks Brita’s first-ever investment into the beauty market, with the company acquiring a minority stake in Hello Klean, with the option to purchase a majority position over time.

The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, and Hello Klean will remain completely independent and continue to be led by co-founders Karlee Zhang and Omer Ozener.

Brita’s investment will be used to fuel four key areas of the business, starting with product development.
