Maison Francis Kurkdjian co-founder Marc Chaya is leaving his role as CEO and President of the luxury fragrance house.
“After an extraordinary journey co-founding and building Maison Francis Kurkdjian, I have made the decision to step down from my role as President & CEO,” he said in a post on LinkedIn.
“When Francis and I started this Maison in 2009, we had a simple yet ambitious vision: to place creativity back at the heart of perfumery and give the perfumer a true voice.
“What followed has gone far beyond anything I could have imagined – a global adventure shaped by passion, human connections, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.”
Maison Francis Kurkdjian was acquired by luxury conglomerate LVMH in 2017.
As well as pursuing new projects, Chaya will “remain close with the Maison and Group”, he said in his LinkedIn post.
He will continue as strategic advisor to Véronique Courtois, Chairman and CEO of Parfums Christian Dior and LVMH’s Beauty Division.
