Lynsey Barber is a journalist for Cosmetics Business website and magazine, where she writes news and features about the beauty industry, ranging from business analysis and financial results, to new product launches and pop-up events.
 
As science writer, Lynsey covers ingredients and packaging innovation as well as regulatory updates. She also writes for Cosmetics Business Trend Report about the newest trends set to shape the beauty industry, from waterless hair care and fragrance primers, to butt care and spicules.
 
Previously she was Consumer Editor at The Sun and technology editor at London newspaper and website City A.M. where she won Tech Journalist of the Year at the UK Tech Awards 2016 and appeared as an expert on BBC World News, BBC Radio and LBC, as well as moderating sessions at tech events.
 
Lynsey attended Goldsmiths College, University of London and started her career at business magazine publisher Haymarket where she wrote about the PR, media, advertising and marketing industries as a reporter, and was digital editor for PRWeek.
