Charlotte Tilbury Beauty CEO Demetra Pinsent has been recognised in HM The King’s New Year Honours List.
Pinsent, who has served as CEO of the Puig-owned make-up brand for 14 years, has been named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to business and the beauty Industry.
Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is one of the make-up sector’s most well-known brands, founded by MUA Charlotte Tilbury.
Last year, the company was crowned the beauty brand with the biggest social impact and became the most recommended beauty brand by AI for Christmas 2025.
The brand also helped push Puig’s sales up 6.1% in Q3.
Some 1,157 individuals have been recognised in the King’s 2026 New Year Honours List, with a focus on those who have gone above and beyond for their communities.
Richard Antony Marshall, founder and CEO of Pall Mall Barbers, also represents the beauty industry in the list.
Marshall has been named a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to international trade, mentoring and to people with dyslexia.
He has been a champion of the UK’s personal care and barbering industry, working closely with the UK government to spotlight the challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Jo Tutchener-Sharp, former beauty executive and Scamp & Dude founder, has also been awarded an OBE in recognition of her services to fashion and charity.
Scamp & Dude’s Super Scarves initiative, which donates a scarf to a woman undergoing cancer treatment for every scarf sold, was spotlighted for its hard work.
The company has donated 80,000 scarves and more than £4m in cash and product contributions to charitable causes.
"This year’s Honours List celebrates the very best of Britain – people who put the common good ahead of themselves to strengthen communities and change lives,” said UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
"Their quiet dedication speaks to the decent, compassionate country we are proud to be.
“On behalf of the whole nation, thank you – and congratulations to everyone recognised today."
