The British Beauty Council has named model and entrepreneur Georgia May Jagger its Wellbeing Ambassador.
The 32-year-old British-American supermodel is the daughter of musician Mick Jagger and the founder of organic beauty brand May Botanicals.
“Having launched her own brand May Botanicals in 2023, Georgia May Jagger will bolster the importance of the council's work to the creative industries, mental wellbeing and support for brand founders,” read a statement from The British Beauty Council.
Jagger joins The British Beauty Council’s existing ambassadors, which includes supermodel Kate Moss, singer Rita Ora, and MUA and Jones Road founder Bobbi Brown.
The British Beauty Council is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the beauty industry by tackling issues facing the sector.
Jagger’s appointment came alongside the news of the theme for the council’s Beauty Week for 2025 – ‘Future of Beauty’.
Running from 20 to 26 October, it aims to spotlight the power of innovation, technology and growth of the beauty industry.
'The beauty industry has long been at the forefront of innovation, both in terms of science and creativity,” said Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council.
'This year's British Beauty Week is all about spotlighting the trailblazing nature of our sector, while also reinforcing the importance of future talent for igniting change and showcasing our industry's growth globally.”
