Kate Moss has joined the British Beauty Council as its latest ambassador.
The supermodel and brand founder will work with the industry body to raise awareness and reputation of UK beauty to a global audience.
Moss will contribute her “unmatched knowledge and influence” of the fashion and beauty industry, spanning more than 30 years, to areas including policy, ESG, talent and growth, said the Council.
“Beauty is more than skin deep, it’s the heartbeat of the creative industry that’s helped build my career, and the careers of so much creative talent, from hair and make-up stylists on set to the magicians behind the brands,” said Moss.
“I am so proud to be part of it and honoured for this opportunity to join the British Beauty Council.”
Moss has fronted fragrance and make-up campaigns for a wide range of beauty brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Rimmel, Dior, Decorté and Calvin Klein.
The 49-year-old also unveiled her wellness brand Cosmoss last year, which offers a range of skin care and fragrance products as well as wellness supplements.
She joins a growing roster of big beauty industry names in representing the British Beauty Council as ambassador.
Bobbi Brown, Caroline Hirons, Sam McKnight and Mary Greenwell were among the names appointed as British Beauty Council ambassadors in July, with the aim of using their platforms to champion British beauty globally.
