Sephora UK’s first Sheffield store launch date unveiled

The LVMH-owned beauty retailer’s first store in Yorkshire is opening sooner than you think as the company ramps up its UK retail footprint

Sephora has confirmed the official opening date for its first-ever Yorkshire-based store as it continues to accelerate its UK growth plans.

The LVMH-owned beauty retailer’s 3,389sqft retail space in Sheffield’s Meadowhall shopping centre is set to open its doors on 11 July.

This is Sephora’s ninth store opening since re-entering the UK in 2022. 

The company has several stores nationwide, including Newcastle’s Eldon Square, Gateshead Metrocentre, Manchester Trafford Centre, Birmingham Bullring, Liverpool One and two in London.

A store at Manchester Arndale is slated to open later this summer, while a site in Cardiff’s St David’s Centre will open this autumn. 

“2025 is shaping up to be one of our most exciting, and busiest, years yet at Sephora UK and bringing our beauty playground to Sheffield is a huge part of that momentum,” said Sarah Boyd, Managing Director of Sephora UK.

“Every new store is a celebration of our commitment to making beauty more accessible, inclusive and inspiring for the unique communities we join. 

“No matter how many openings we have on the calendar, each one feels just as special, and our team cannot wait to open the doors for our Yorkshire beauty lovers.”

The Sheffield Meadowhall store will offer the retailer’s namesake range Sephora Collection, as well as ‘only at Sephora’ brands such as Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, Makeup By Mario, Merit Beauty and Tower 28. 

Darren Pearce, Centre Director at Meadowhall, commented: “We cannot wait for Sephora to open its doors at Meadowhall in July. 

“With its unique in-store experience, enormously popular product ranges and exclusive global brands, I have no doubt that it will be a must-visit store for so many beauty fans across the region.”
