Sephora UK is set to open its first store outside of England in the heart of Cardiff, Wales.

The LVMH-owned beauty retailer said that there has been significant consumer demand to expand beyond just England since relaunching in the UK in 2022.

Boyd added: “Opening our first UK store outside of England is a huge milestone for Sephora, and we are incredibly excited to be coming to Cardiff.
“This store is a direct response to the passion and creativity of the Welsh beauty consumer who we are looking forward to getting to know better.
“We know our customers are not just looking for products, they are seeking inspiration, expertise and spaces that reflect their individuality and values.”
Sephora has been rapidly expanding its presence in the UK with several stores nationwide, including London locations in Westfield and also Stratford.
It later expanded into Northern England via stores in Newcastle’s Eldon Square, Gateshead Metrocentre, Manchester Trafford Centre and Birmingham Bullring.
Sephora Liverpool One is also set to open on 22 May, with locations at Sheffield Meadowhall and Manchester Arndale slated to open later this summer.
Helen Morgan, Centre Director of St David’s Cardiff, added: “Sephora has been a hotly anticipated brand and we’re excited to officially confirm its arrival at St David’s later this year.
“We know there is going to be a lot of love for Sephora as it opens its first Welsh store and joins our great line-up of brands, and we cannot wait for opening day. ”
