Perricone MD has tapped actress Jennie Garth as its new brand ambassador.
Garth is best known for playing Kelly Taylor, one of the female leads in 1990s teen TV drama Beverly Hills, 90210.
According to the skin care brand, Garth’s 30-year personal focus on wellness aligns with its core values.
THG-owned Perricone MD promotes a ‘three-tier philosophy’, which encompasses anti-inflammatory diet, nutritional supplements and clinical skin care solutions.
Garth, meanwhile, hosts a podcast called I Choose Me, which explores self-care and self-love, as well as 9021OMG!, a Beverly Hills, 90210 rewatch podcast with friend and former co-star Tori Spelling.
The 52-year-old is also said to be a long-time fan of the brand and its founder, Dr Nicholas Perricone.
Perricone MD President Robert Koerner, said: “Jennie's lifestyle and interests perfectly embody the Perricone MD holistic, three-tier philosophy for healthy ageing.
“She has been an active consumer of the brand for the past 20 years, making her the perfect partner to help us communicate our core belief that true beauty is radiant health.
“And Jennie has not only the trust from her community, who turn to her for authentic product recommendations and advice, she has a natural connection with our core 50+ consumer target.”
Garth added: “Since discovering Dr Perricone in the 1990s as a pioneer in healthy ageing, I've counted on Perricone MD throughout my skin care journey.
“As a strong advocate for healthy ageing and self-care, Perricone MD's approach to celebrating women being comfortable in their skin deeply resonates with me.
“I choose Perricone MD because they invest in powerful ingredients, cutting-edge research, and extensive efficacy testing to ensure exceptional results, which I have personally experienced.”
From September, Garth will represent the brand on QVC.
The actress has previously appeared on the shopping channel to promote her clothing line, Me by Jennie Garth, and her home decor line, The BFF Collection, both of which are QVC exclusives.
Perricone MD is known for its Cold Plasma Plus+ products and its recent No Makeup Collection colour line.
It first launched as Clinical Creations in 1997 and has been a part of British e-commerce retail group THG’s portfolio since 2020.
