Day 4: 'Nonsensical theming and structure lead to frustrations'

The world layout can feel too cluttered and unfocused, and despite it being located in a small space it was easy to get turned around
I entered Metaverse Beauty Week (MBW) with fairly low expectations, given the current limited functions of the technology, and left feeling even more apathetic about the apparent “future” of beauty.
Let’s break it down starting with Decentraland, I dropped into what was essentially a ghost town, with only four other people exploring the space at the time.
The graphics have an appealing art style at the very least, with bright colours and a soft, cartoony aesthetic that is visually pleasing.
But just what is going on with the actual architecture and level layout? Bizarre towers, nonsensical shaped buildings and giant mushrooms litter the small scrap of land, and it was easy for me to get turned around while exploring.
Would it not make more sense to create a world that feels more tangibly connected to beauty?
