L'Oréal-owned skin care brand chose British actress, presenter, author, and activist for her ‘fearless optimism, timeless elegance’

Lancôme has chosen Dame Joanna Lumley to front the launch of its new Rénergie Collagen Lift-Xtend Cream.

Lumley, a British actress, presenter, author, and activist, will work with the L'Oréal-owned skin care brand on a campaign promoting the launch of the longevity-focused cream.

She was chosen for her “fearless optimism, timeless elegance and proactive advocacy”, according to a statement by Lancôme, which described her as a “national treasure”.

“I use the things I know and trust like Lancôme,” Lumley said.

“I love the way the products make my skin feel, but also how I feel, it gives me confidence.

“I have been using Lancôme for more years than I can count, which is why it feels so natural to partner with them.”

Rénergie Collagen Lift-Xtend Cream is enriched with an advanced collagen complex, which offers a high-tension formula that is bouncy and stretchy to the touch, forming thin threads that pick up beneath the fingertips.

It is designed to help tighten the skin with a firming sensation without stickiness.

The cream retails for £85 and is available at lancome.co.uk.

A statement from Lancôme read: “Dame Joanna is one of the most recognised figures in the UK, a national treasure, whose career spans over 50 years in modelling, acting, presenting and advocating for human rights.

“Lumley has redefined what it means to use influence for positive change, perfectly embodying Lancôme values.”

It follows Lancôme naming Vanessa Kirby its newest Global Ambassador in March 2026.

The brand described the actress as “an embodiment of the brand's fearless optimism and the sophisticated allure of authentic vulnerability”.

The BAFTA Award-winning actress and producer is known for roles in Netflix television series The Crown and Marvel movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
