Lancôme has named British actress Nico Parker its youngest global brand ambassador.
The 19-year-old can be seen posing in a new campaign for the L’Oréal-owned brand on Instagram.
Parker made her film debut in 2019 as Milly Farrier in Walt Disney Pictures’ Dumbo, before playing Sarah Miller in the first series of HBO programme The Last of Us.
This year, she was awarded the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Sundance Film Festival for her role in the movie Suncoast.
Lancôme chose Parker as its latest face because of her “bright personality, optimism and intelligence,” the brand said on its Instagram post revealing the news.
“Nico has built, in only five years, a remarkable acting resume spanning several genres in TV and cinema.”
Parker said it feels “surreal” to be an ambassador in Lancôme’s teaser campaign video.
“All the ambassadors look so different and it is so free and expressive, and I think that is wonderful,” she said.
“It feels incredible to be welcomed with such open arms to the Lancôme family.”
Lancôme’s other ambassadors include Wednesday actress Joy Sunday, Squid Game’s Hoyeon Jung, Belgian-French actress Virginie Efira and YouTuber Emma Chamberlain.
