Hollywood actress Chloe Moretz has teased the launch of a new beauty brand in partnership with singer Rina Sawayama.
The pair have said they are co–founders of Godmode, inspired by beauty and gaming, along with music and fashion, which is due to launch this month.
Moretz is known for her roles in films such as Kick Ass and Carrie and has been acting since the age of six.
Japanese-British popstar Sawayama has released two studio albums and has been nominated for BRIT awards.
The singer-songwriter has also made a move into acting, appearing in John Wick: Chapter 4, and is due to reprise the role in an upcoming spin-off of the action franchise.
The Godmode website promises that products will be landing this spring and encourages shoppers to join a waitlist to “unlock our first drop”.
But the co-founders so far remain tight-lipped on the specifics of the range.
The brand is “born from a community of beauty and gaming experts inspired by the creativity of digital artists, fashion designers and music tastemakers” according to the Godmode Instagram account shared by the pair.
It added that it will drop “vibrant colors and otherworldly looks with high-performance formulas” that are "built by the world’s best product innovators”.
In pictures teasing the launch, a curved silver compact can be spotted song with a capsule shaped blue metallic item that appears to be an eyeshadow or lip gloss.
“I could not be more excited to be co-founding Godmode,” said Moretz in a post on Instagram.
“Godmode is a brand that brings together so many of my lifelong passions.
“At its core, it is where gaming meets beauty, but it also pulls in everything else I love – fashion, music, and culture – all under one roof.
“It feels like the kind of world I have always wanted to build, and now we finally get to bring it to life.”
Moretz has previously featured in campaigns for beauty brands SK-II, the premium skin care brand owned by Procter & Gamble, as well as Coach fragrances.
Also teasing the launch, Sawayama said on Instagram: “My approach to beauty has always been about pushing boundaries and creating unique characters.
“I am so excited to announce that I am a co-founder of Godmode; a new generation beauty brand which encompasses beauty, gaming, music and fashion.
“With Godmode, I am so excited to bring bold and experimental energy to a brand that celebrates individuality.”
Sawayama has appeared in a campaign for Versus Versace, the Italian fashion giant’s diffusion line, and walked on the Balmain runway.
She has also worked on projects with MAC and featured in a festive campaign for Charlotte Tilbury alongside Elton John and Kate Moss.
