Charlotte Tilbury partners with Elton John on festive campaign and make-up collection

Kate Moss, Jourdan Dunn, Michaela Jae Rodriguez and Rina Sawayama also star in the luxury make-up brand’s holiday offering

Charlotte Tilbury has teamed up with Elton John for its latest festive campaign and make-up collection.

Inspired by the ‘Rocketman’ singer’s signature style, the luxury make-up brand’s limited edition Rocket collection includes two new shades of the brand’s Matte Revolution lipstick (US$38 each): Rocket Lips, a pinky nude matte shade, and Ready for Lust, a deep berry.

The lipsticks are housed in black packaging with white stars, said to have been co-designed by John.

Also included is a Rock Star Bag ($64), embellished with silver stars, that the brand said can be used as a make-up or clutch bag.

The campaign also marks the brand’s partnership with John’s The Rocket Fund charity, which works to provide young people at risk of HIV and and AIDS with access to vital services and support.

Founder Charlotte Tilbury described working with John as an “honour and privilege”.

“Elton is a legend, one of life’s visionaries, and I truly believe that together we can inspire and empower everyone, everywhere, to live a life filled with confidence and end the stigma around HIV and AIDS,” she added.

The ‘Step Into Christmas’ singer stars alongside the brand’s ambassadors, including models Kate Moss and Jourdan Dunn, actress Michaela Jae Rodriguez and singer Rina Sawayama, in the festive campaign.

This is not Charlotte Tilbury’s only high profile collaboration to be revealed in recent months.

The brand teamed up with Disney in August to launch a Tinker Bell-themed make-up and skin care collection, accompanied by an ad campaign that saw Tilbury transformed into an animated Disney character herself.
