HPCi Media’s B2B publications will work closely with the not-for-profit organisation to help raise the reputation of UK beauty to a global audience

Cosmetics Business and sister title Pure Beauty have become patrons of the British Beauty Council, pledging their support towards shaping the beauty industry's future.

Both B2B publications will support the UK industry body’s mission to solve the beauty sector's shared challenges, advise on its wider business road map, and help raise awareness and the reputation of UK beauty to a global audience.

The British Beauty Council is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to representing the opinions and needs of the UK cosmetics industry at government level, highlighting the sector’s contribution to the UK economy.

"We are delighted to be working with Cosmetics Business and Pure Beauty on an ongoing basis,” said Millie Kendall, CEO of the British Beauty Council.

“The titles have always delivered top quality B2B insights, which inform and match the council’s understanding of the current state of the beauty market in the UK.

“Together, we will work to deliver high quality editorial content which will drive the council's agenda and aid us in reaching brand new, exciting and emerging audiences."

As part of the deal, Cosmetics Business and Pure Beauty will deliver exclusive news stories on the council’s work, have first access to industry sector reports and be invited to key events to advise on the organisation’s broader plans.

As part of the collaboration, Kendall will become a columnist for CosmeticsBusiness.com.

She will write a quarterly column for the website, covering the biggest industry hot topics, which will also appear in future editions of Pure Beauty magazine.

The British Beauty Council is also providing a seal of approval for Pure Beauty’s Trend Edit – an annual report which rounds up the biggest trends that defined the beauty industry throughout the year.

Within it, Kendall will share her forecast on the movements set to shape the sector in 2026.

British Beauty Council members will get access to the report two days before anyone else.

Louise Burns, Managing Director of HPCi Media, the parent company of Cosmetics Business and Pure Beauty, commented: "We are proud to announce our partnership with the British Beauty Council as a patron, joining some of the industry’s most respected names.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting and promoting the UK beauty sector through trusted editorial insight and meaningful collaboration.

"We are looking forward to sharing valuable insights, engaging wider audiences and amplifying the council’s important work across our platforms.”

Other beauty giants who are patrons of the British Beauty Council include Avon, Benefit, Coty, Deciem, Elemis, Grown Alchemist, No7, Medik8, Superdrug, THG and Wella.
