As part of the #MoreThanLips campaign the brand is also working in conjunction with She Should Run to get 250,000 women running for office by 2030

British beauty brand Soap & Glory has released a promotional video using footage from the LA Women’s March it held earlier in the year.

The #MoreThanLips campaign aims to provide a platform for women to speak out about their own individuality and unique beauty.

The emotive video shows women from the event speaking out about their hardships - from domestic abuse to homelessness - and their accomplishments such as running marathons and embracing their unique qualities.

Soap & Glory influencers, Nabela Noor, Jessie Paege, Cammie Scoot and Colour Me Courtney also appear in the video.

The brand is now encouraging all women to speak up on social media about their own difficult experiences.

In conjunction with the campaign, the brand has promised to donate US$5 for every Instagram post published using #MoreThanLips to the US campaign She Should Run (up to $20,000).

Founded in 2011, She Should Run provides starting support for women considering running for office in the future.

Since the 2016 US election over 15,000 women have been inspired to run for office through the programme.

The project wants to get 250,000 women running in elections by 2030.
