Boots has launched an on-demand beauty and health delivery service on Just Eat.
More than 1,000 products stocked by the health and beauty retailer can now be bought on the UK food delivery app.
Beauty brands such as No7, Fenty Beauty, The Inkey List and CeraVe are available to purchase.
Medicines and health care for coughs, colds, hay fever and mild pain can also be bought.
The scheme has launched with 50 Boots sites across the UK in areas including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester.
The plan is to roll out the service to 100 more Boots stores by spring 2025.
This news comes hot on the heels of The Perfume Shop announcing its new fragrance delivery service with Deliveroo in a bid to expand its omnichannel offering.
Boots Chief Digital Officer Paula Bobbett said the partnership will enable the retailer to bring its products to customers in a “faster, flexible and convenient” way.
“Our online business continues to grow and partnerships with platforms like Just Eat enable our customers a way to access our products quickly and easily,” said Bobbett.
“It will be super handy for times when you need something urgently but cannot leave the house, like if you are feeling unwell or are looking after your kids.”
This is Just Eat UK’s first collaboration with a pharmacy-led retailer.
The move is part of a wider strategy to continue to expand the business’s offering beyond food delivery to everyday essentials.
“By partnering with the UK’s leading health and beauty retailer, we are continuing our mission to empower convenience for our customers,” said Just Eat UK and Ireland MD Claire Pointon.
“Helping them get whatever they want, whenever and wherever they need it.”
