Make-up artist and former Real Techniques founder Nic Chapman has joined No7 as the brand’s UK Makeup Artist Ambassador.
Chapman will create make-up tutorials for the Boots-owned brand, featuring across No7’s digital platforms as well as hosting events and acting as a spokesperson for the brand.
She is said to have been chosen to meet the demand for make-up application tutorials and product recommendations among No7’s consumer base, according to the brand.
More than a third of women said they feel intimidated when trying a new beauty product, according to a survey by Censuswide.
“I’m delighted to be working with No7 as their new make-up artist ambassador,” said Chapman.
“As a busy, working mum myself, I understand the desire for a quick make-up look that leaves you feeling your best without the need for lots of product or time.
“Social media would have you believe that everyone knows what they’re doing when it comes to make-up, and you need a cupboard full of products and an advanced skill set to look your best.
“The reality is that most of us just want to know how to do a few steps that make us feel our best selves and I’m excited to work closely with No7 to simplify make-up and break down the basics that can easily fit into your morning routine.”
The partnership kicked off on Instagram, with Chapman showing consumers how to create a ‘no make-up’ make-up look using No7 products.
“No7 has always been committed to creating products that let women look and feel their best,” added Helen Garton, No7 Global Brand Director.
“As a renowned make-up artist and someone we know our customers can relate to, we’re excited to welcome Nic Chapman to the No7 family to provide tips and tricks, and product recommendations for our customers.”
Chapman has 26 years of experience in the beauty industry, and is best known as one half of influencer duo Pixiwoo alongside her sister Sam Chapman.
Launching their YouTube channel in 2008, the duo posted product reviews and tutorials, building a following of more than 2 million subscribers before retiring the channel in 2020.
The sisters went on to further success with make-up brush brand Real Techniques in 2011, before parting ways with the brand’s owner PPI Beauty in 2020.
