Sephora has confirmed the launch date of its highly-anticipated Manchester, UK, store.
The luxury beauty retailer’s 500sqm retail space in the city’s Trafford Centre shopping destination will open its doors on 16 May 2024.
“Mark your calendars, put it in your diaries and tell your best friend (and your employer – for the time off you will need to join us),” Sephora UK posted on Instagram as it revealed the news.
This will be Sephora’s third store in the UK and its first outside of London – with existing locations in Westfield’s White City and Stratford City shopping centres.
Manchester was the retailer’s most requested location for its next UK store, claimed the LVMH-owned company.
“Expanding our presence beyond London is something that consumers have been screaming out for, and we are listening hard to them when deciding where to go next,” said Sarah Boyd, MD of Sephora UK.
This news comes hot on the heels of Sephora revealing it will also be opening two more Northern locations this autumn as it ramps up its UK retail footprint.
The Newcastle-based destinations – Eldon Square and MetroCentre – both promise an “unparalleled” shopping experience.
“We are beyond excited to welcome all the passionate beauty lovers of the region to our stores and to create an iconic moment for retail in the North East,” commented Boyd.
