Elemis is opening its first standalone store in London as it ramps up its UK retail presence.
The British skin care brand has signed a lease for a 1,000sqft shop in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials shopping district, which will open this spring.
Situated at 23 Monmouth Street, it will house the heritage brand’s full line of skin care products, with further details of the in-store experience still under wraps.
This news comes off the back of the brand’s successful Elemis Cleansing Lab pop-up, which it hosted in Covent Garden’s Piazza last summer.
“Since Elemis’ inception over 30 years ago, we have garnered global renown and established ourselves as forerunners in providing premium skin care,” said Elemis UK GM Susan Harvey.
“The launch of our new standalone store in the iconic Seven Dials will allow us to continue to deliver this.
“We look forward to welcoming our community, delivering an experience like no other, and empowering them as they embark on their skin wellness journey.”
Elemis will join beauty brands Aēsop, Byredo, Deciem, Fresh, Kiehl’s and Le Labo, which all have retail stores in the area.
Michelle McGrath, Executive Director of Shaftesbury Capital, said the company is “delighted” to be welcoming Elemis to the Seven Dials neighbourhood.
“Welcoming yet another London debut from a sector-leading brand is a testament to Shaftesbury Capital’s commitment to creating a thriving destination,” said McGrath.
She added that the location “hosts a unique blend of internationally renowned and independent brands, innovative concepts, and industry firsts”.
Elemis also has a spa – The House of Elemis – in London’s Mayfair, which delivers a range of the brand’s treatments.
