Sephora is opening two new stores in Newcastle this autumn as it expands its UK retail footprint.
The beauty retailer has confirmed it will open a 6,515sqft store in the city’s shopping centre Eldon Square and a second 6,180sqft site in retail destination MetroCentre.
Both will offer an “unparalleled shopping experience”, housing brands across make-up, travel, fragrance, skin care, hair care, grooming and wellness.
This will be Sephora’s fourth and fifth store opening since returning to the UK in 2023 after an 18-year exit from the market.
Sephora’s third UK store is opening in Manchester this summer, while the retailer already has two London locations in Westfield’s White City and Stratford City shopping centres.
“We heard the beauty community of the North East loud and clear,” said Sarah Boyd, MD of Sephora UK.
“Opening not one, but two, amazing beauty playgrounds at the same time is a bold step, and one we have great confidence in.
“We are beyond excited to welcome all the passionate beauty lovers of the region to our stores and to create an iconic moment for retail in the North East."
The exact opening date of each store has not yet been revealed.
Both Newcastle stores will offer beauty services, including facials from skin care brands Elemis and Dermalogica and brow styling from cosmetic giant Benefit.
Dyson will also offer consumers dry styling treatments.
Shoppers can also get their hands on Sephora’s UK exclusive brands such as Makeup by Mario, Topicals, GXVE by Gwen Stefani and Haus Labs by Lady Gaga.
