Beauty entrepreneur said she wished the circumstances had been different to share the product details

Huda Kattan the co-founder of Dubai-based Huda Beauty has postponed the reveal of her brand’s ‘biggest launch of the year’ in respect of the clashes between Israel and Palestine in recent days.

The product’s teaser content was due to go live on 18 May, however, Kattan pulled the posts due to a flareup of the conflict between the two states this month.

The struggle between Palestinians and Israelis is one of the world’s most enduring conflicts, with Israelis having occupied the Gaza strip of the Palestinian state for more than 50 years.

“With everything that’s going on in the world, with Israel and Palestine, I haven’t wanted to talk about make-up,” said the beauty entrepreneur via her brand’s Instagram channel.

“I know that some people are going about their lives as usual but I’m having a hard time doing that,” she added.

“I’m really excited to share [the product] with you guys, I just wish it was under different circumstances.”

“This is probably the worst tease,” she continued.

However, due to logistics the brand is expected to reveal the details of the new product today, which Kattan said has been in the pipeline for two years.

Teasers have now been released via the brand's Instagram channel, with the new product expected to launch tomorrow (21 May).

Kattan has been vocal about the recent uprising in conflict and air strikes via her personal channel, @huda, in which she spoke about Israeli settlers taking over Palestinians’ homes.
