The 51,000sqm space includes a newly-built corporate headquarters
Beiersdorf's campus on the newly-renamed Beiersdorfstrasse
Located on the freshly-renamed Beiersdorfstrasse, the campus’ centrepiece is said to be its newly-built corporate headquarters.
Employees were involved in the planning process for the headquarters’ room modules and even furniture selection, resulting in a floor plan and room modules tailored to agile working methods, said Beiersdorf.
The headquarters’ second floor provides space for meetings and workshops, with locations including the ‘urban lab’, ‘garden of creativity’, ‘in the clouds’ and the ‘stage’ – a speaker’s corner to share knowledge and ideas.
The campus’ 51,000sqm space brings together a 1,500sqm restaurant, as well as fitness and wellness programmes and services for bicycle repair, laundry and mail for Beiersdorf’s 3,000 workers at the site.
It also includes existing buildings such as Beiersdorf’s Skin Research Center, which opened in 2004, with all buildings being connected via bridges.
“In constructing this campus, we are clearly and proudly embracing our entrepreneurial roots,” commented Beiersdorf CEO Vincent Warnery.
“We have invested €250m in the city where our success story as the inventor of modern skin care began 141 years ago.
“The campus offers our employees the ideal space for exchange, inspiration and the development of new ideas in state-of-the-art workspaces – and thus the foundation for long term success and further growth.”
