L’Oréal Paris has named American actress Ariana Greenblatt its newest Global Ambassador.
The Barbie movie and Disney’s Stuck in the Middle star will be the face of the French beauty brand’s new Revitalift Vitamin C and Elvive Glycolic Gloss campaigns.
The 17-year-old is L’Oréal Paris’ youngest brand ambassador.
“Ariana Greenblatt has already achieved so much in her young life and her star just keeps on rising,” said Delphine Viguier-Hovasse, L’Oréal Paris’ Global President.
“Throughout it all, she remains humble and grounded, while boldly sharing her talent with the world.
“She is a wonderful addition to the L’Oréal Paris family.
“A gifted actress with an awareness of the world around her, which makes her voice a powerful advocate of self-worth for a new generation of women.”
Commenting on her new role with L’Oréal Paris, Greenblatt said: “I have always enjoyed playing complex roles with emotional depth, showcasing a side to young women and girls that is not always seen on-screen.
“As a L’Oréal Paris ambassador, I aim to show that beauty is fearless, ageless and also lots of fun.”
Greenblatt played Sasha in last year’s hit Barbie movie alongside A-list actresses Margot Robbie and America Ferrera.
She has also played young Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War and will appear in the soon-to-be-released Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.
“To me, L’Oréal Paris is not just one of the most iconic beauty brands in the world: it’s a brand that empowers us to be unapologetically ourselves,” Greenblatt added.
“I am ecstatic to be part of the L’Oréal Paris family and look forward to joining such talented and inspiring fellow Global Ambassadors.”
The appointment follows hot on the heels of Mean Girls actress Reneé Rapp being named a Global Ambassador for the brand.
L’Oréal Paris also scooped The X-Files and Sex Education star Gillian Anderson to front campaigns for its Age Perfect range, developed for women over 50.
