Luxury department store Liberty, famed for its Beauty Hall, has opened The Beauty Studio – a new shopping space encouraging exploration and play with up-and-coming and avant-garde brands.
The shopping destination in London, UK, has built the studio space to shine a spotlight on the brand names making waves in both beauty and wellness, giving shoppers a chance to experience the products before purchasing.
The Beauty Studio will also play host to immersive experiences and curated exclusives from featured brands.
This year has also marked the British department store’s 150th anniversary celebrations, over the course of which Liberty’s has launched several limited-edition collections and curations spanning both fashion and beauty in celebration.
The Beauty Studio, which opened on 27 October, has launched with three key brands, each selected for their innovative approach towards beauty and wellness: Violette_FR, Grown Alchemist and Vyrao.

Grown Alchemist
The Australian brand is famed for its biotech and biomimetic-focused formulations across skin, body and hand care.
The Grown Alchemist space within The Beauty Studio showcases the brand’s best-sellers and skin care kits, as well as offering complimentary hand massages to customers and skin diagnosis with the brand’s Skin Diagnostics Tool.
Violette_FR
Multi-category beauty brand Violette_FR, founded by French make-up artist Violette Serrat, makes its British concession space debut in Liberty’s The Beauty Studios.
The brand’s new home in Liberty offers a space for beauty lovers to uncover and shop its wide range of products, spanning make-up, skin care and fragrance.
Vyrao
Home and personal fragrance brand Vyrao sets out to fuse energetic healing with master perfumery.
The wellness-rooted beauty brand sees scent as a wellbeing tool, with shoppers able to discover its range of creations spanning eau de parfum to incense sticks that “feel as good as they smell”.
