L’Oréal Paris has signed Bridgerton star Simone Ashley as its UK and Ireland ambassador.
The actress was unveiled as the face of the brand at Cannes Film Festival in France, where L’Oréal Paris is the official beauty partner.
“As a brand that empowers women and self worth, we have been celebrating women in cinema for 27 years as the official partner of the festival,” said Amelie Fortier-Cyr, GM of L’Oréal Paris UK&I.
“To celebrate women, talent, diversity and freedom of expression in cinema.
“Simone is the absolute embodiment of each of these things.
“Especially when it comes to diversity and representation, embracing and owning her worth.”
Ashley rose to fame after appearing in Netflix comedy show Sex Education and period drama Bridgerton.

The 29-year-old British-Indian star is “honoured” to join the L’Oréal Paris ambassador family alongside model Kendall Jenner and actress Viola Davis.
“To stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most inspiring and beautiful women in the world,” said Ashley.
L’Oréal Paris is not the only beauty brand to add a new celebrity face to its roster.
Schwarzkopf has hired US singer Dove Cameron, while Dior has landed actress Charlize Theron.
Jo Malone has also signed a contract with actor Tom Hardy, which sees him fronting the brand’s Cypress & Grapevine Cologne Intense fragrance line.
