Kérastase, the L'Oréal-owned luxury professional hair care brand, is rebooting its luxury Chronologiste range with the power of longevity science.
It is the latest brand in the French beauty giant’s portfolio to direct its focus on the lucrative longevity sector – defined by a shift from symptom correction to root cause intervention – with Lancôme and Vichy being the most recent premium players entering the arena.
But spearheading this refreshed era for Chronologiste is the new Overnight Youth Serum, which Kérastase claims is being fuelled by its newly unveiled ‘Caviar Of Longevity’ formula.
This is a potent blend of patented Pro-xylane and ochrohyta algae, which helps protect optimal hair function and supports a healthier-looking, more resilient scalp-hair ecosystem.
And fronting it all is none other than actress and model Demi Moore, Kérastase’s recently appointed Global Brand Ambassador, who can now be revealed as the official face of Chronologiste.
Moore will front a new campaign promoting the range named, ‘Do You Want to Reverse Time? Really?’, with a television advert which sees her reflecting on ageing, identity and her connection with hair.
Cosmetics Business spoke with Amber Zak Yopp, Kérastase Global Brand President, who unveils the full details behind Chronologiste’s new longevity era and how it fits into Kérastase’s global ambitions.
