Glossier is marking its UK launch in Sephora Westfield Shepherds Bush with a pop-up bus and a series of masterclasses by celebrity make-up artist Katie Jane Hughes.
The millennial pink brand, which entered Sephora stores in the US and Canada in February, will be available at the Shepherds Bush, London store and sephora.co.uk from today.
It also previewed on the Sephora app on 14 September.
To mark the occasion, Hughes, who boasts 850k Instagram followers and has worked with stars including Hailey Bieber, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Ashley Graham, will be in-store for Glossier masterclasses on 15 September at 1pm and 6pm.
The MUA will also be at the Glossier Bus on 16 September between 11am and 2pm.
Glossier’s pop-up bus will be located at the Southern Terrace entrance of Westfield London on both 15 and 16 September.
Inside the Sephora Westfield Shepherds Bush store itself, Glossier’s gondola promises to give consumers a taste of its brand cues, with Glossier’s signature pink serving as a backdrop to highlight products.
The wavy tray tester system from Glossier’s stores is also replicated on the Sephora gondola’s top shelf, as is its signature ‘You Look Good’ mirror.
“Glossier is built on community, and Sephora is not only an iconic global retailer, but also shares our commitment to community,” said Kyle Leahy, Glossier’s CEO, of the partnership.
“With the UK being Glossier’s second biggest market, this Sephora partnership and first-ever wholesale retail relationship in the UK is the perfect progression for us.”
Glossier’s wholesale expansion adds to its current UK distribution via the brand’s Covent Garden, London flagship store and on glossier.com.
“After the great success of Glossier at Sephora in the US, we are extremely excited to launch the brand in the UK both online, on our app and in our wonderful store in Westfield Shepherds Bush, exclusively,” said the Sephora UK Managing Director, Sarah Boyd.
“We know our customers love the brand and we are excited to help Glossier accelerate its remarkable trajectory thanks to our passionate beauty advisors, brand building expertise, and retail know-how.
“We are also proud to be the first Sephora market outside of the US to bring our customers more of what they love.”
