The British beauty player has launched a limited-edition collection of make-up and skin care adorned with a Disney Tinker Bell design to mark Disney’s centenary.
The Disney100 x Charlotte Tilbury line-up includes three Disney100 Edition versions of the MUA brand’s Beauty Light Wand, a liquid highlighter, in Spotlight, Gold and Pink, and a special Disney100 Magic Cream: Charlotte Tilbury’s hero skin care sku.
A crimson Beauty Wishes Makeup Bag, sporting a Tinker Bell design rounds up the collection.
To promote the collaboration, Disney animators Eric Goldberg and Dorothy McKim transformed the eponymous brands’ founder Charlotte Tilbury into a hand-drawn Disney character.
The campaign video sees a real-life Tilbury transformed by Peter Pan’s friendly fairy into an animated version of herself who flies around night-time London making women’s beauty dreams come true.
As part of the team-up, members of the public can collect four Tinker Bell trading pins in designs inspired by faith, wonder, magic and luck, by entering a code at checkout.
Ten influencer-created make-up looks, inspired by Disney characters, have also been issued to coincide with the launch, and a pop-up store will take place in London’s Selfridges store.
Other brands besides Charlotte Tilbury have tapped into the magic of Disney in 2023.
The opening of the live action remake of The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey as Ariel, in May saw brands including Carol’s Daughter and Kiko Milano launch limited-edition collections.
Revolution Beauty, meanwhile, made a splash with its summer beauty collection, inspired by Disney-Pixar’s Finding Nemo.
