Beauty trade shows give attendees the opportunity to meet multiple decision makers and discover a plethora of new launches and information – all under one roof, and often in the space of just 48 hours.

Little wonder that attendance at key events has bounced back like a rubber ball since the lockdown era; 2023’s Cosmoprof Bologna in March saw new exhibitor figures up 35% compared with the pre-pandemic period.

But, with normal service resuming, showrunners are adopting a variety of tactics to make their events leaner and greener than pre-pandemic.

For example, prestige packaging trade show Luxe Pack Monaco, which took place 2-4 October 2023, rolled out a new initiative designed to help its customers reduce the carbon footprint of their visit.
