Beauty expert and make-up artist Tanya Burr, who found fame via her make-up and style tutorials on YouTube, has collaborated with eye CANDY (Invogue Ltd) to launch a collection of lip glosses and nail polishes. Tanya Burr by eye CANDY, which already has a pre-order waiting list, is said to take its cues from catwalk trends. Nail polishes cost £5.99 and come in ten shades including Riding Hood (a rich red), Little Duck (pale green) and Mini Marshmallows (pale pink). The crème and shimmer lip glosses (£6.99), meanwhile, come in 12 variants, from First Date, which gives a natural pink sheen, to dark red Vampire Kiss.
“Tanya is a trained make-up artist as well as being one of the most successful bloggers,” said Mark Taylor of eye CANDY. “She's got a fantastic understanding of what looks good and what you need for maximum effect. Her new range combines professional quality with affordability and we're looking forward to working with her on the launch.”
Burr added: “I've always wanted to develop my own range... The opportunity came up with eye CANDY and I jumped at the chance to work with them on my own exclusive collection. I've been involved from the start and all of the shades are favourite choices of mine.”
