Beauty retailer Space.NK has announced a new partnership with Translations.com for the launch and maintenance of four new language websites.
Space.NK already has e-commerce sites serving the UK, the US and Ireland, all in the English language. It is now planning to use GlobalLink to offer its products in Simplified Chinese, French, German and Spanish to reach a wider range of consumers. The software will provide all facets of the translation process.
Jez Wilson, Head of Ecommerce at Space.NK, explained: “Launching these new international sites is a huge step forward for us. GlobalLink’s ability to integrate directly with our existing Demandware platform has made managing multilingual content easier and more cost-effective than we’d ever imaged, and enables us to expand our existing reach in new markets quickly and efficiently in a localised manner.”
Liz Elting, Co-CEO at translations.com, added: “We are delighted to add this very exciting brand to our portfolio of GlobalLink clients. Our missions is to provide the best-in-breed technology and services to help organisations like Space NK Apothecary expedite their international growth efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining their important global brand voice.”
Translations.com offers services in more than 170 languages and is currently used by more than 3,000 companies and organisations worldwide. Space.NK currently has 84 stores worldwide and recently updated its website in partnership with Astound.
