Sacheu Beauty is expanding its C-suite with two new senior leadership appointments.
The US indie make-up business has named Connie Kim CFO and Michelle Miller CMO to fuel its growth and help “scale” the business.
Sacheau Beauty was launched in 2021 by content creator and beauty entrepreneur Sarah Cheung, and is best known for viral product Lip Stay-N lipliner.
Kim is a seasoned beauty executive, having most recently served as CFO for skin care company Topicals.
She has also worked as VP, Technology, Operations & Strategy for British consumer goods giant Unilever.
Miller, meanwhile, has held leadership positions at several beauty brands.
These roles include CMO at hair care brand Vegamour, Founding CMO at biomimetic hair science label K18 Hair, and VP Marketing at Kosas Cosmetics.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn on 16 December, Sacheu posted: “Like our long-wear beauty products, Sacheu is built for brand longevity – not just hype.
“Behind every breakout brand is a growth engine designed to scale.
“We are welcoming Connie Kim (CFO) and Michelle Miller (CMO) – two leaders who know how to pair momentum with intention.”
Sacheu Beauty has had a stellar year, with Google searches for the brand soaring 5,000% in September, spurred on by celebrity viral moments.
Plus, the company was recently named one of the most popular brands with beauty creators over 40.
Commenting on her appointment, Miller posted to LinkedIn: “Sacheu is pioneering a new way to think about innovative, long-wear make-up that stays on all day (or night!), all at an accessible price point.
“I am super energised to work with the dynamic team for all we have in store next year.
“And for those asking why my make-up and lips look so good lately, Sacheu is why.”
