Revlon is moving its New Jersey, US-based R&D lab.
The beauty company’s science and innovation hub in the states will now be located at the Northeast Science and Technology (NEST) Center – a 100-plus acre campus dedicated to R&D.
“Revlon selected NEST for its existing lab infrastructure, which will help us further amplify our innovation capabilities, and provide a state-of-the-art setting to meet our specific R&D needs,” said Revlon’s Chief Scientific Officer, Lise Jorgensen.
“This substantial investment in our R&D capabilities marks a critical and exciting step in Revlon’s future and reinforces our commitment to develop the most advanced consumer-inspired products for our brands around the world."
Revlon’s research labs, pilot manufacturing and office functions will be centralised within a 62,000sqft space within a building now known as 15 NEST.
NEST is located in Kenilworth, New Jersey, just 17 miles from Revlon’s former site in Edison, New Jersey.
The relocation announcement coincides with Michelle Peluso joining the Revlon and Elizabeth Arden brand owner as CEO.
The former CVS Health executive stepped into the role on 5 November, succeeding interim CEO Elizabeth Smith.
