The authorities are reported to have accused P&G's Russian enterprise, which is a distributor, of increasing its expenses by payments to the parent group for the use of the P&G brand. Only a production subsidiary is allowed to use the brand for this purpose under Russian tax law. The company is understood to be appealing against the decision of the fiscal authorities.
