NYX, the L'Oréal-owned make-up brand, has appointed Denée Pearson as its new Global Brand President.
Pearson will be responsible for driving the brand’s global business growth, focusing on digital innovations and collaborations in a bid to transform NYX into a “powerhouse entertainment brand” according to the company.
Pearson is said to have spearheaded some of NYX’s best selling product launches including Shine Loud High Shine Lip Color, Fat Oil Lip Drip and Brow Glue.
She boasts more than 20 years’ experience at L'Oréal, with roles across the French beauty giant’s brands including Lancôme and Maybelline, prior to joining NYX.
Pearson will take over the role of Global Brand President from Yann Joffredo from 1 September.
Since joining the brand in 2019, Pearson and her team are said to have played a key role in NYX’s recent series of high-profile partnerships, including its Barbie movie make-up collection.
To celebrate the partnership, NYX opened a Barbie-themed pop-up in London in July, where customers could shop the limited edition products including eyeshadow palettes, lip glosses and eye pencils.
NYX has also teamed up with Disney’s Avatar: The Way of Water and Netflix’s La Casa De Papel (or Money Heist) for limited edition make-up collections.
