The Dutch beauty store chain is unveiling the new flagship at the new Battersea Power Station retail centre

Rituals, the Dutch beauty giant, is unveiling its new store format in London, UK.

The Battersea Power Station outlet, described as a 'flagship wellbeing hub', will open on 14 October.

Store features include a 'Hair Temple', a hair care advisory station; skin care consultations;  and a sleep-focused area.

"During these ever-changing, fast-paced times, we understand the need for creating moments of joy and feeling balanced during our everyday lives," said Penny Grivea, Managing Director for UK & Ireland at Rituals.

Grivea described the new store as a "tranquil space", adding: "this opening marks an exciting time for the brand in growing our retail presence across the United Kingdom.”

To mark the opening, Rituals is offering the first 200 store guests a goody bag and complimentary personalisation of gift sets during the store's opening weekend.

Battersea Power Station, a decommissioned coal-fired power station, is reopening after 39 years as a retail, leisure and office centre.

Beauty stores at the £9bn renovation project include Aesop, Jo Malone London, Kiehl's, Le Labo, MAC Cosmetics, Penhaligon's, Space NK and The Body Shop.

Rituals has increasingly focused on 'holistic retail' in recent years. The House of Rituals flagship store was unveiled in the Netherlands in 2020, which includes a spa and fragrance bar.
