Regional Sales Manager – ProTec Ingredia - South UK

To be fully responsible for the promotion and sales of raw materials purchased from the company principals and suppliers and to achieve annual sales and profit goals to customers within the South of the UK as defined by the UK Sales manager/Sales Director

To be fully responsible for the promotion and sales of raw materials purchased from the Company principals and suppliers and to achieve annual sales and profit goals to customers within the South of the UK as defined by the UK Sales manager/Sales Director. Account manage major customers liaising with all other departments within the Company.

The ideal candidate must currently be based within the South of the UK.

Duties

  • To achieve targets for sales and profitability as defined by UK Sales Manager/Sales Director.
  • To account manage all customers within a geographical territory as defined by the Sales Director.
  • To visit customers on a regular basis and to build good relationships with technical and purchasing departments and to make visits with principals when required.
  • To write detailed visit reports and be responsible for making appointments within the territory planning and to fill in the ProTec Agenda of forward activities. To write quarterly reports for sales meetings and for selected principals.
  • To assist, when necessary, with the training and induction of new colleagues.

A full UK driving license is required.

Overseas visits are necessary to suppliers, tradeshows, possible customers and other ProTec offices as required and this could involve weekend travel if necessary on occasions.
