Two refillable pen concepts, a new paper-content tube and the first adopter of Aptar’s Silk spray diffusion system are among this month’s pick of packaging news and solutions for cosmetics, fragrance and personal care.

1. Faber-Castell Cosmetics, Protopia

Faber-Castell Cosmetics launched its Protopia concept at Cosmopack in Bologna, with a rechargeable cosmetic pencil taking centre stage.

The rechargeable pencil features two different vegan and ‘clean’ textures for lips, eyes and brows.

Elsewhere in the range are high-performing wooden cosmetic pencils incorporating renewable ingredients in PEFC-certified wood and airtight packaging.

These pencils are now available in different lengths or with different ferrules.
