The UK natural and organic cosmetics and personal care market has enjoyed an enviable growth rate over the past five years. From 2012-2016, the UK market saw sales grow by almost 30%, to reach €318m. Today, natural hair care is the most popular sector accounting for 5% of total hair care product sales.

But, as the old adage goes, all good things must come to an end – or at least start to taper off. New research from Ecovia Intelligence, formerly Organic Monitor, has revealed that sales are now slowing in part due to the uncertain economic and political climate caused by Brexit, creating a weaker pound and higher prices.
