Making hair look uniform, shiny and healthy from the root all the way to tips is often achieved with
conditioner. By all accounts, rinse-off products formulated with
conditioning benefits work much more effectively than those first
introduced in the 1960’s. Along with modern conditioning formulations,
however, have come changes in the way millions of consumers treat their
hair. With so many new and exciting styling and treatment options
available to try and improve the look and feel of hair, these may lead
to deleterious effects on strands, often resulting in damage either by
chemical or mechanical means. All of these hair treatment and styling
options have served to place extra demands on conditioner technologies.
