L’Oréal Groupe has appointed Damien Favre as President of its Dermatological Beauty Division (LDB) for North America.
The division includes La Roche-Posay, Vichy, CeraVeand SkinCeuticals, and was previously known as L’Oréal Active Cosmetics until a rebrand in 2023.
Favre spent four years leading the French conglomerate’s Consumer Products Division (CPD) in Latin America.
He is credited with more than doubling net sales across brands like Maybelline, Garnier and NYX.
A veteran of L’Oréal, Favre started in 2005 on the marketing team in France.
Since then has held roles such as Marketing Director in Western Europe and General Manager in Italy, both for Garnier, as well as CPD General Manager in Argentina.
David Greenberg, CEO of L'Oréal USA and President of North America said: “Damien Favre's impressive track record of driving growth, building brands, navigating complex market dynamics, and fostering a culture of high performance make him ideally positioned to lead L’Oréal Dermatological Beauty in North America as the Division continues to evolve.
“Damien’s dedication to driving innovation will undoubtedly fuel the division to continue to deliver dermatological solutions that consumers need.”
Favre succeeds Christine (Tina) Fair, who recently became President of L’Oréal’s Consumer Products Division in North America.
