Lindsay Lohan is the latest celebrity to hint at entering the beauty industry.
In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the actress revealed she is developing a skin care line, stating: “It’s taking a long time because I’m very specific, because I am crazy about my skin and health.”
She mentioned she is currently testing serums for the line.
Her personal skin care routine includes nutrient-rich juices, green tea and daily use of eye patches and cold water treatments.
Lohan’s announcement comes amid a surge of celebrity beauty brand launches.
Paris Hilton recently introduced her skin care line, Parívie, a five-step regimen designed for people with busy lifestyles.
Meanwhile, actress Chloë Grace Moretz and singer Rina Sawayama have co-founded a new beauty brand called Godmode, set to launch this month.
Inspired by gaming, fashion, and music, Godmode aims to deliver “vibrant colors and otherworldly looks with high-performance formulas.”
Moretz expressed her excitement on Instagram, stating: “Godmode is a brand that brings together so many of my lifelong passions.”
As more celebrities venture into the beauty industry, consumers may wonder: do we need another celebrity beauty brand?
With Lohan’s line still in development, time will tell how it will differentiate itself in a crowded market.
